Historically and culturally, shawls were blankets to protect women from the wind and sun or to wrap children and carry them.

They are embroidered by hand with ancestral techniques, this Andean technique of triple embroidery is transmitted from generation to generation.

Each work can last 25 days point to point embroidery.
